Tuesday 1st September, 2026 | Native Bee Hotel Building Workshop

Varroa Treatment Information Session – 6:30 PM

Before our regular meeting at 7:00 PM, we will be joined by Callum, a representative from Aluen CAP Australia, for a special 30-minute information session on their Varroa treatment strips.

Aluen CAP is a slow-release oxalic acid strip treatment used to help control Varroa destructor in honey bee colonies. The strips are placed in the hive and provide a controlled treatment over an extended period.

Everyone is welcome to come along for this informative session.

Join us for a hands-on and informative Native Bee Hotel Building Workshop!

Learn more about our amazing native bees, why providing suitable nesting habitat is important, and how you can build your very own native bee hotel to encourage and support these wonderful pollinators.

Whether you're new to native bees, an experienced beekeeper, or simply interested in helping our local pollinators, this is a great opportunity to learn something new and get involved.

    Supper
Please bring a plate to share for supper – it’s a lovely way to unwind, connect, and enjoy good company after the meeting.

    A Little Something Extra
Enjoy a hot, freshly brewed coffee or hot chocolate from our espresso machine for just $4 per cup – perfect for sipping while you learn, build and catch up with fellow beekeepers.
